Cancellations and refunds
This policy applies if you purchase a BoomScrolling subscription from Fort Rock Media. The free workspace remains free; reading this page does not subscribe you. The subscription terms describe the paid service and its limits.
Cancel renewal anytime
In Connections, choose “Manage billing / cancel” and cancel before your next renewal. Renewal stops and paid access continues until the current paid period ends, subject to its limits. If the portal is unavailable, email info@shaneneeley.com; we use the time of your first request when reviewing a charge. Disconnecting X or deleting browser data does not cancel billing.
First payment: 7-day refund
Request a full refund within 7 calendar days after your first successful subscription payment. No reason is required, and trying the paid features does not disqualify you. This guarantee is available once per customer, not once per new account.
Accidental renewal: 48-hour grace
If you forgot to cancel, request a full refund within 48 hours after renewal, before using the renewed Following allowance. A failed or empty load alone does not automatically disqualify your request. This courtesy is available once per customer. Failed attempts caused by a service problem are reviewed under the service-failure rule below.
Billing errors and service failures
We refund confirmed duplicate charges and renewals taken after a timely cancellation. The courtesy limits above do not apply to those errors. If paid Following is unusable for 48 consecutive hours after you report the problem, despite meeting the connection requirements and having allowance remaining, you may request a full refund of the affected monthly charge. Reaching the stated allowance is not a service failure.
Other cancellations and repeat claims
Outside these cases, paid charges are not prorated or refunded for unused days, unused allowance or simply not using the app. We may decline courtesy claims supported by evidence of duplicate accounts or repeated attempts to bypass the one-time limits. These limits do not remove rights you have under applicable law.
Requesting and receiving a refund
Email info@shaneneeley.com from your account email with the charge date and receipt or invoice reference. Deadlines are measured from when you send the request, not when we reply. We may verify account ownership. Never send card numbers, passwords or provider credentials.
A full subscription refund ends paid access and stops renewal; your free workspace remains available. If correcting an older or duplicate charge would also stop a valid current paid period, we explain that effect and refund that current period too. Refunds return through Stripe to the original payment method, with no refund handling fee deducted by us. Banks commonly take 5–10 business days after processing to show the credit; timing can vary. A cancellation alone does not request a refund. Fort Rock Media reviews requests; Stripe processes approved refunds.
